The Great Exchange by Philip H. Eveson

Everything that you ever wanted to know, and most likely more, about justification by faith alone is found in this volume. Eveson deals with the teachings of Scripture, develops a biblical definition for justification, and defends this definition against both ancient and present challenges. He seems to have two major concerns. The first is a new understanding of the doctrine of justification espoused by Dr. N. T. Wright that literally turns the whole New Testament on its ear. The other concern is the recent coziness between evangelicals and Roman Catholics. The Great Exchange deals with both of these issues well.

This is not a book for everyone. While it contains some solid teachings and a good defense of the biblical doctrine of justification, it will hold the interest only of those who are for some reason immersed in this debate.
