In this little book Lutzer outlines a number of ethical systems competing for followers in our society at this time. Those systems include: cultural relativism, situation ethics, behaviorism, emotive ethics and the ethics of the New Age Movement. Each of these systems is shown to be inadequate and unsatisfying when stacked up against biblical morality and ethics. However, this is not a book that carefully details the Scriptural position. Rather the emphasis is upon the inadequate philosophies that have invaded our age.
The book is interesting, but only to a limited audience – primarily those involved with campus ministries and the like.
